We will soon draw to a close a very busy Christmas term.  We have enjoyed so many activities, including making decorations at Christmas Crafternoon, playing games and meeting Santa at the Christmas Fair, watching the panto at Buxton, singing carols around the tree with the local community, entertaining parents and carers with the infant Nativity, revelling at our class parties and appreciating the peace and significance of the season at our Christingle Service.

We have also raised money for Save the Children by wearing our favourite Christmas jumpers and the Children's Society by filling Christingle candle boxes with loose change.

Thanks go to our hard-working PTA who contributed to so many of these events, the Haddon Estate for our beautiful Christmas tree, and Dene at Rowsley Post Office for raising money for the school at his annual raffle.

We are all now ready for a break!  We would like to wish all our families and the wider school community a peaceful and fun Christmas, and the very best for the New Year.
