Children in Malorie Blackman Class have had a very exciting start to the year, attending their residential at Dukes Barn in Beeley. The children had a fantastic attitude when tackling lots of different exciting activities including rock climbing, an obstacle course and orienteering. We had a fantastic morning canoeing on the canal in Chesterfield, and even managed to sing happy birthday to Elliot as our canoes rose up on the water in a lock. The adults couldn't believe how brave the children were when abseiling off the Miller's Dale Viaduct, apparently the highest abseil in Derbyshire!
